Need Installation help

I have hl2 and i have the source sdk,source sdk base 2006 and 2007 installed and ive downloaded the Beta 4b Client Installer and i've restated steam but hidden doesnt show up? i'm new to source games if anyone can please help me get it working so i can play it would be appreciated. If someone can give precise instructions it would be helpfull. ex) (csteamapps:sourcemeds something like that.

Try re-installing. When its installing read the text check for errors. Like 'failed to copy file..'
