"Receiving server info" crashing
Every time I try to connect to a server, or even do a tutorial, as soon as the loading gets to "receiving server info", the game just crashes and says "hl2.exe has stopped responding". How do I fix this? Hl2 works fine but when I launch the hidden it crashes

I've tried to completely remove The Hidden, Uninstall Half Life 2. Reinstall Half Life, then reinstall the hidden. But still crashes after it gets to the "receiving server info"

Open console, and put in "cl_downloadfilter all" without quotation marks. Let me know if the problem is still there.

It continues to happen after i tried that cl_downloadfilter all command. I can run Half Life 2 and play it, as well as all other source games, I can launch The Hidden but when I try to join something it still crashes at "Receiving server info" and says "Hl2.exe has stopped responding."

I can play anything else, any source/steam game, anything, TF2, Counterstrike, Garry's Mod, etc. JUST The Hidden Doesn't want to work. I can launch and play Half Life 2 by itself, but when i try to run the hidden source mod, it crashes at "Receiving server info"
