Basically i keep crashing when playing the hidden on my laptop, i have already checked other crash fixes but after reading through them i decided that it is a fix for something that i'm not getting, for example, one such suggested cause was that i can't run it due to my direct X not being updated even though i have direct X 9, therefore i presume i should be fine. Also before anyone asks when the game crashes it simply says hl2 has stopped working, i click close and the exact same message pops up has anyone got a reason or fix for this. Also another point i will add is that i have never had these problems before, they're recent and happen often.
