Thumbs up This is how you fix the "Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket" problem

So I've seen many people having this problem, I had it too until I saw a very helpful comment on YouTube which helped me fix it.
If deleting all those .blob files didn't help, here's how you fix it once and for all-

    • Exit steam
    • Go to your main Steam folder (C:\Program Files\Steam)
    • Delete ALL the files and folders in there EXCEPT for steamapps folder and steam.exes
    • Start Steam and let it update
    • Launch Hidden Source
    • ???
    • Have fun.

Hope I helped some of ya'll sick bastards out there,
    Yours, JimmyTheCake

It's justa file called Steam that has the Steam logo as icon . To make sure it's the exe file right click on it-> properties- And it says there.

Does this affect your steam or delete your other games?

Bare in mind if you do this, it may take a long time re-download everything. This may also not work for all of you.

When I get this error I find just leaving it a day or so fixes the issue.

If you don't delete your steamapps folder, your not going to download anything else except Steam, which won't take long at all.

UnInstall Steam and then ReInstall Steam
