The Hidden: Source Hackers/Cheaters List

As some of you may no, this game is having a big issue lately with cheaters. Some of them are using speed hacks while other are magically seeing the hidden through walls and having no trouble spotting them in dark corners. So I present to you this list of confirmed/suspected cheaters. Feel free to contribute.

1. "Unconnected"

Have no idea who this guy is. Basically, he types the command "setinfo name ""' in the console making him invisible on the player list. He spams annoying music with HLDJ and does it in such a way that no one can mute him unless they disable voice chat in the game menu. Also uses wall hacks and isn't afraid to show it. Avoid this guy! And if TK is on, make a pact with your team members and just gun him down at spawn. He'll eventually rage quit.

This clown tries so hard to look like an innocent player but sometimes gets carried away in the excitment of his all seeing eye. By that I mean he uses wall hacks. When I suspected that he was cheating, on the map hdn_decay, I positioned myself up on a ledge in the main room with the chandelier. It was behind a banner and a bunch of bushes hanging off the wall, in total darkness. As I suspected, he had no trouble spotting me behind a banner in a pitch black corner on roof level. When I asked him for an explanation, he credited the use of night vision goggles. Funny, because I'm pretty sure goggles don't make map props transparent.

3. "Super Hax0r" AKA "einstein.ehingen"

His name pretty much sums it up. Uses wall hacks, doesn't hide this fact very well. When accused, he claims that you suck at the game or pretend that The Hidden was in spawn, and that he checks the set spawn points every round. Again, funny because when I was hidden, he ignored the spawn points and casually made his way over to my position instead.

press the console button
type record BLAH where blah is something pertaining to the record
type status to display a list of steamids
watch the hilarity ensue
open the console again and type stop once the hilarity has completed
update the blah.dem file created
profit!

I'm not directly asking admins to ban these people. I just put this list here to warn everyone that these guys clearly don't play fair and you should try to avoid them. Plus, when was the last time you saw a server admin on this mod?

Well Unconnected is probably Arnold, noone likes him around here anyways and i just admin-mute him when he plays his spam, and einstein.ehingen is no threat. He threatened to hack, and threatened a ban, he threatened a new steam account, i threatened i.p. ban, he threatened i.p. change I told him he had 0/100 life and i won. Simple. These people have no lives so they do stuff like that.

I have a huge collection of steam ID's with notes on suspicious players as I encounter them for future reference. I just put it on pastebin so you guys can check it out, probably the OP will like it the most.

It lacks dates, which could be useful, but these are just straight copy and paste from console. If you want you can copy and paste all the steam ID's with notes by their name regarding possible hacking here. Some I've managed to actually ban.

To the OP I suggest you do the same. Every time you encounter some odd fellow, type status in console, copy the steam ID's down, remember his name and add a side note of what was odd. Keep doing this and as your list grows longer you can Ctrl F someones steam ID and and start seeing some consistencies. Of course try to record them each time if you can, the sooner you can catch them the better. I hate cheaters with a passion even more so in this game. I do what I can to ensure they get caught. Short of starting my own server and being admin this is the best I can do to contribute.

This is still up for debate at the Council of Elrond as judgement on your judging has not yet been judged. One does not simply...know his shit.

One can know his shit good sir, that is why we have advances in technology, medicine, and science. Else where would man be today if he didn't know his shit?

I have played this game long enough, studied it long enough and been taught by what I'd regard as some of the best this game has seen and feel comfortable in saying, that when it comes to this very game and what it has to offer, that I know my shit.
I can see why you say that not knowing me well and such, but I know me and I know what I know bro and with my knowldege of myself I still say I'm pretty good at passing judgement whether one is hacking or not.
