s'not a problem from our end, will be an issue with steam (more than likely) - all the steam connection stuff is in the engine, which we can't modify.

HELP! Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket.
I played the hidden very often last year....last week i wanted to play again...BUT...since then i couldn't connect to any server. also i can't play the tutorial...ALWAYS the same error message -----------> Disconnect: Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket.
I deleted the clientregistry.blob, steamui.dll and steam.dll; i logged off and logged in again; i installed the mod again;;;;; i tried "everything" but nothing happened....only this: Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket.....
All other multiplayer mods work without any problem...only the hidden: source won't
i asked some of my friends in steam...most of them had the same problem. they stopped playing the game because there seems no support anymore...but i don't want to stop playing this nice mod. Please help!!!!!!!!!

There is no other solution to your issue. It's a problem on Steam's end and has nothing to do with the mod itself. You can try doing a full steam reinstall but that would be the only other option I can see if you've done everything else.

omg! are you serious?? there has to be an other solution....why do all the other mods work then???

As I pointed out earlier, we don't have any control over the steam connection stuff - it's not something we can modify in any way, so if there's an issue with steam connections, it's either at steams end or yours. There's really nothing we can do other than point you at the existing FAQ page about the issue on the steam support site.
