View Full Version : Here's a little suggestion for trip alarms

Not even sure if they're staying for B5 but I have a small suggestion. This may have come up before but I can't find any posts... How about making the alarms only audible for IRIS members. Could be explained story-wise that they're tied into IRIS radios OR that they emit at a higher frequency than the hidden can hear (as a result of the genetic mods).

Gameplay wise I think it'd make them alot more effective. Right now the hidden can't see the beams which can give you away if you're not expecting it, but add the non-audible part and it could make them very useful for setting traps as he won't know he's set them off.

As a result you'd add a dimention of alarm hiding as now the hidden would have to actually look for them and now gives IRIS a reason to hide them well...

So is this possible? Useless? Alarms not even staying? Thoughts?
