MOTD uses html so you can do it like this:

<img src="http://www.your.url/path_to_your_picture/picture.jpg">

keep in mind that the picture MUST be hosted remotely... or at least on a webserver. having it in the hidden folder wont work.

I write all my motds in dreamweaver, if you have access to that program, your best bet is to use it. Dreamweaver will add the image properly for you so everyone can see it.

gah... at least use Textpad (4. 5 is busted) or something with vaguely decent syntax handling.

If I do any code by hand, I always use Notepad++, considering most of the coding I do is html.

I swear, any html i put in wordpad explodes, changes form, and attempts to escape.

Notepad wins!

I've never used an enhanced version of notepad... By the point where it ceases to be useful, the wysiwyg editors are just there to make things more complicated. They're nice for quickly making a this-or-that tag, though.

Yeah, I use Notepad++ - set it up so it replaces notepad completely.

so that would work?
-just copy and paste it?

300k for that? given that imagechack/photobucket aren't that fast it probably wont even load fast enough for the player to see before they hit the OK button so why not at least make the text bits it in html/css over a static background image... with a much higher compression.

You might also want to you know, ask permission about using a picture from someone else that you've edited to remove identifying marks from.
