Thats not so bad for little kid stuff. A lot of that sort of stuff is just plain stupid.

But this is the best song ever: Ore wa Gureeto Majinga (I am Great Mazinger) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TywD2LjaZEI)

I think when making your assesment, you are neglecting the theme of awesome and flagrant piracy!

The inclusion of priates increases its worth tenfold, in the same way that Star Wars does

Super Robots >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pirates

This version of Tobe! Gundam! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRGWcGbOq20) pwns Great Mazinger's theme

I do agree, the Lazy Town Pirate song is freakin’ unbelievable but I do believe that this song deserves honorable mention as it is almost as catchy:

This 'un's for you, Gus.

Well, no it ain't. It's for everyone. I was just reminded of it. Excuse the singing, it's not top notch, but it's far above adequate.

Personally, I prefer Code Monkey (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4Wy7gRGgeA) (there's a couple of other versions of the vid on YouTube, but I find this one relatively amusing and it's a fair bit of work gone into it)

It uses WoW assets, but is not recorded directly in WoW - if only because some of the models / creatures cannot be found together.

I thought it was just done in a private server, but I might be wrong because I never really messed around with them.

Before you ask, since apes, goblins, and night elf receptionists don't tend to interact much in the wild, I couldn't only use captured game footage to make this video. Every frame of this video was composited together by hand using images captured from the WoW Model Viewer, WoW Map Viewer, and the World of Warcraft game itself.

Straight from the YouTube info :D

Oh, it wasn't so bad.
Compared to what's been here previously. =P

Of course, Code Monkey is the best of the bunch, but that's because Ging missed the point!
What this thread really needs is a link to Yatta....

doesnt make it any less world of warcraft.

I should think he used the world viewer app and model viewer - infact im fairly sure thats how its done. The Gorillas are found slightly north of that town (booty bay) and the only way to get them in there would be have a hunter train one, but that is le unpractical. Composite allows for that abstract effect that you can see on the perspective where things arnt quite right but 'good enough'. Makes for a good look.

There are quite a few videos made in this way. Some of them really really awesome.

Assets are not all of a game though lad - as for the rest of your post, see my reply to edit, where I said how it was done...

One day, you'll learn to read properly and all will be good with the world! :p

Wouldn't they have just done it the same way as South Park did their WoW episode?

I did read what you replied with, I just added my 2 cents? Is that allowed? :P

All in all I tihnk the inclusion of booty bay in such a well made vid just backs up the fact that pirates rule
