As of now I am running a Hidden: Source dedicated server under an amd64 Linux machine (with all appropriate ia32-libs installed). I have installed the server as per the guide written by Phaedrus, and have applied the fix listed. There are no custom maps installed; yet the server will go on tantrums where it crashes then restarts repeatedly every now and then. Is anyone else experiencing such issues ?

Also, for some reason my server's game appears as "Hidden: Source B3" instead of "Hidden: Source B4"

Check if it doesnt crash on certain maps. I had something similar and it was cause of 2 maps. Can't remember now which ones but search might do the trick :)

I will; although I thought the map crashes where unique to Windows systems.
The other issue I am having is when turning sv_pure to 1. The maps will checkerbox.

sv_pure 1 (https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Pure_Servers) shouldn't mess with map textures. 2 will though.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong; I had it set to 1: the server will load fine and the initial map will be without errors. Once the map changes, everything is either checker-boxed or wire-framed. The IRIS members will have a huge "ERROR" word chasing them around, and so will the hidden.

Hey guys,

I also got a Problem with Server-Crashes! So the main Problem I got is this "workthreadpool.cpp (296)"

The problem always occures when the Server is changing the map. But there is no special time the error occures. So sometime the Server crashes after some hours. Sometimes after one or two days. But longer then two days never happend before.

So here's the LOG:
