"Raper" STEAM_0:0:16983367
Pretty sure the same ones as here (http://forum.hidden-source.com/showthread.php?t=10042). But just to comply with the German Gründlichkeit I had to create a new thread, because they went through the effort of getting new SteamIDs.

Demo (http://files.filefront.com/rapers+sjdhfjzip/;12535128;/fileinfo.html)

They were playing on CC about 30 minutes ago, no idea when they entered.
Spamming the ugly mother radio and later starting to tk.

Stupid me...
But how comes those people return to servers they have been banned on?

Poor banning practices. :)

I saw RAPED and Raper on Hiddenbase.de - #1 today. Again.

Ok, this is really strange. I just created a banned user file, which I rcon exec to refresh the server's banned users list. The Raped guys were on this list, but still they managed to get on the server 2 minutes later. So I checked the listed ids and saw that the list was missing two entries... the ones of the two.

My first idea would be that they somehow got access to the rcon password, but I doubt that.

Poor banning practices.

rcon banid 0 STEAMID
rcon writeid
workes for me.

Edit:
I know now that a server crash resets the banlist to it's "original" 27 entries...
Does anyone has an idea how I can write the banlist without ftp access?

iirc rcon banid TIME ID doesn't work that well from the game's console since it tries to quote what follows rcon and "banid TIME ID" seems to be treated as a string, instead of a command. sm_rcon &| ma_rcon tend to work more reliably.

though writeid should write the file there and then. making server crashes pick up the newly updated version.

After rcon writeid id get a confirmation:
Writing cfg/banned_user.cfg.
You'd think that should suffice...
or should there be another message telling me that the writing was successfull?
