I got kicked from this brazilian server right now.

Motive: probably because I did not use pigstick and physkilled people?

I'm not gonna rant, I'll leave it up to you guys.

Might of been a beginner server and you would of scared all the new people off, I mean...no new player wants to be chased by a floating barrel xD

I had realized the FN 2000 actually fires much slower than I thought, and I had made 2 insta-gib physkills in a row, with a downward flick with barrels, I never managed to do that with 170+ ping, two flicks, two kills.

I guess the only way I could fully experience this mod would be if I had my own server... but I don't have the money at the moment.

It's on the title of the thread. They are so dumb that they even left the default name.

...and the point is? Complaining via a thread about a server that kicked you can be viewed as a tad childish. I mean, if you were abused by the admin or something before hand (M_C comes to mind) I could understand...

In my experience, most servers with default names are usually (but not always) intended to be private or semi-private (for friends, etc).

I did not like your reply :)

It's not private (not in the meaning of having a password or not, it's meant to be a public server), I just wish that a home made server, by me, could handle it.

And Isolation, you won't understand my point of view until you get to the place I am at, where the only server with ping lower than 170 kicks you out.

Well, he said he was leaving the complaining/ranting up to us.

And also, I must defend being childish in the forums as I'm bored at work and dont want my entertainment to go away :D

Well, got in there again, they already started yelling I was a cheater, that I saw the "******" hidden (sorry about that, but that's how they said it), tried to talk to them, looks like I convinced them I was not a cheater, I even told them to come in here ask you guys if I was a cheater, I know that at least riki and phaed have seen me playing (and phaed already did the "h4x" test on me)

That's a tad presumptuous of you. I have in fact been kicked (and then banned) from of a CHRISTIAN server after being TK'ed by the admin round after round because I was "too good." That was my favorite kick/ban ever. There's been others but not as fun as that one.

The point of my post was that you were KICKED from a server. It might be the only one in your ping range but what the hell stopped you from changing names and rejoining? If you were banned, I'd understand, but kicks are hardly worth complaining about, that's all.

Right, then I would have to change name, join, and play like a noob? The fun is when you physkill people, not when you stop in front of them and say "hi, I am a pigsticker, I am charging mah pigstick in front of you"

Er... well... beggars can't be choosers, as the saying goes. I never said anything about pigsticking or playing like a noob, but if it's the only server you can play on, you might want to play a bit differently (a good Hidden usually thinks about the enjoyment of the other players too, after all).

What other enjoyment than not being pigsticked without a chance to shoot at the first 30 seconds of the round? I let them live 'till the last seconds, and the rounds there are shorter than the expert servers (well, at least than PNA), it just feels wrong playing in there anyways, it's a beginner's server.

The best solution for my problem would still be to make my own server, or I could wait and hope those guys wouldn't give up and someday get to my level (which is not really high compared to most people here).

What is this? Does it involve forcing the shader overlay? I know about that, if its different though i'm interested.

Well there are many I could think off.
Stuff like sitting on their heads, until they move, and start wondering why they move different. Or tell them to jump :)
Pounce through them while holding something big, but don't throw it, just vanish behind any given corner.
Taunt them.
Let them see you, and hit you sometimes. Don't pounce, run around a bit.
Use paintings, barrels, etc as a shield, and slowly cross their fov.
....
Just read the funniest moments thread, there are probably more inspirational posts ;)

My favorite by far thing to do to campers is grab an object pounce to them and hold an object in them in such a way it blocks there gun and thus they cannot shoot you, if you're good enough you can move the object with them as they run away screaming. So fun.

Trust me I did most of those, but they didn't seem to like it, they were like "come on Murilo", it looked like they wanted to die D:

So...point being?

You got kicked from a server for wtf-pwning a few nublets. Shit happens. Won't be the last time it'll happen to you too.

I must admit i keep seeing you whine about how it would be so friggin awesome to have your own server yet you never have the money for it. :/ Don't complain about it if you know you can't have it.

If ping issues are indeed so unfortunate for you though, it might be a good idea to look for other mods/games to lurk in other then Hidden...you know...one's that are actually playable for you. Should make you a lot happier. :D

No other mod/game gives me the type of fun this one does =P

Well, I am a pseudo-antisocial easy offendable person. Was this thread childish? Maybe. Am I whine like a little bitch? Maybe.

The fact is that I am overly frustrated with the situation and thought that maybe someone here could give me some consolation, but it's going the other way around, each reply here makes me even more frustrated, delete this thread already, and my apologies to the "oh so mature" here.

You could try to be more respectful with people, specially the new guys, it's fucking ridiculous AND childish.

Hey, I tried. From the sounds of things, your ONLY choice is to play differently on the server or play on servers where your ping will be crap (sometimes they can be fun, actually). It's not as though any of us can go to that server and demand that they not kick you for the way you play, nor do many of us have the cash to open a server just so you can phys kill noobatrons all day.

*Shrug*

I mean, I do understand the frustration... I just don't see a way of alleviating it beyond the already prescribed methods.

Oh, Zab... WHINING. It even looks wrong. Well, you can't spell WHINING without WIN, Or something. Whatever.

Wow, i would hate to play with an average ping of 200 (Try to Physkill someone with one sec delay is pretty sucky)! I guess the best bet would be, buy an old pc and use it as a host for a server!

And i understand how you feel, now that you´ve experienced how it is to play without delay!

Consider a different approach.

We have "newbies" enter our server every night. If there are enough of them we have a quick "tips and tricks" session, so that everyone has an equal chance of playing on the same level field. I would say if people in the server you like are complaining you are too good it's a prime opportunity for you to say, "Hey, let me teach you some kick ass skills." Call a ceasefire so you can show them how to do some things, and more importantly how to defend against the things you do. I don't like playing the hidden and it being a slaughterhouse, I like a good challenge. Teach the newbs and they will return. Teach your newbs and they'll let you stick around to learn from you.

I always do that, and also tried it on that server.

Thanks for the tips anyways guys, I'm seriously thinking about renting a server when I start working again.

Yes and i suppose i could also try giving out free cookies every time i post a reply on something that is actually totally irrelivant to me but i want to try and suggest a solution for it anyway.

And yes i could try to be more respectful to ppl, but that would make me lose my preciously and effortfully created status of "total immature childish bastard" now would it? And i wouldn't call someone with a 200+ post count a new guy. If this was your first, tenth or even 50th post then yeah, you're as green as grass. But not after several hundred.

And then you might be a pseudo-antisocial easely offendable person but you do realise that posting in a public (see what i did there? that little word? => public <=) exposes you to opinions from different people from all of the world with a helluva lot of different cultural backgrounds with different ways of thinking then yours might result in a conflicting point of view on certain topics. You can be pseudo-antisocial all you want, but then do keep in mind that a forum is usually a place where people socialise and thus might not be suited for you.

I, in none of my posts, have stated that I was a new guy, I was talking about the new guys who get instantly flamed, I do realize that some kind of "deserve" it, but that's not the point.

Oh yeah, and this being a public forum, I do have the right to not like some of the replies and call you a "total immature childish bastard" (depending on the forum rules actually), but even being it public, it would be a complete lack of respect from me, so I'm not gonna do it, afterall you wouldn't do it in the streets, but that wouldn't be a matter of respect, but a matter of people punching you in the face. :)
